Self-Scrutiny depicts a man exploring his inner self and gaining insight into his character. The metaphor is represented by a robot gaining self-awareness. The sculpture props the question: is ignorance bliss? The sculpture has previously been displayed at the League of NH Craftsmen annual Sunapee fair. It is made entirely of upcycled scrap iron.
